Born in the vibrant ’80s, Timo de Vos discovered his love for DJing in the late ’90s and has been sharing his passion for electronic dance music ever since.
With decades of experience at a wide variety of events, Timo has developed an instinct for reading his audience and setting the perfect atmosphere, no matter the occasion.
Under his mainstream alias, ToMi, Timo has had the opportunity to perform on major stages, including Rotterdam Ahoy during De Vrienden van Amstel Live and even at Afrojack’s birthday. He’s also shared the decks with renowned DJs like DJ Jean, Vato Gonzalez, and Paul Elstak. But for Timo, it’s not about the big names—it’s about creating those memorable moments and spreading positive energy through his music. Groovy beats, dynamic variety, and an infectious energy that keeps the dancefloor moving!
As the years passed, this positive and energetic DJ’s affection deepened for the underground sounds. In 2015, he gave birth to his ‘underground’ alter ego, Tim Petersson. As a co-founder of Stookhoksessies (Est 2014 as a “Boiler Room”-inspired concept based in the Netherlands), he explores deeper, more atmospheric journeys with a sound that’s still full of good energy and positive vibes.
In 2023, Timo reignited his love for vinyl —what he calls “black gold”—and launched V.O.S. (Vinyl Only Sessions), bringing the warmth and authenticity of vinyl back to the dancefloor.
Additionally, Timo collaborates with Marijn de Ruijter (DJ Merain) as part of the duo Stuart & Dave(Two Minions), a back-to-back DJ act known for delivering high-energy, party-centric sets. From 80 to 160 bpm, they mix everything, ensuring non-stop madness with a blend of well-known tunes and unexpected twists—always fueled by pure energy!
